Our Story

Founded over 20 years ago, Royal Kitchen was born from a simple dream โ€” to share the rich culinary heritage of China with the community of Ammanford. What started as a small family-run eatery has grown into one of Carmarthenshire's most beloved Chinese restaurants.

Our founder, Li Yongde, hails from Hong Kong and brings decades of passion for authentic Cantonese cuisine. His vision was to create a restaurant where every guest feels like family โ€” a place where the warmth of Chinese hospitality meets the finest traditional flavours.
